Something That You Are Proud Of (30 Day Challenge, day 17) PHOTOS

If there was one thing I was really proud of… I guess it would be my skills as a photographer. I only have a Nikon D60 with a 18-55mm kit lens and a 55-200mm kit lens, SB-600 and a third-party battery grip, BUT I still manage to take decent photographs. I don’t use any software except iPhoto (just to correct the colour, or to make it ). Here are some pictures I think that look great:

Things You Want to Say to an Ex (30 Day Challenge, day 5)

Dear ex-girlfriend,

It’s been quite a long time since we last communicated at all. I really don’t know what to say, but rest assured I am doing better than before. I won’t lie, I’m not doing fine nor am I doing great, but I am doing better. There have been many things that you taught me in the past and guess what, I’m still learning. I am entirely grateful that you came into my life. And I’ll keep saying this… I really do not know how to repay you, though I you’d say “Just live out your life and don’t screw it up” or something like. So now, I guess the only advice I could give is: don’t stop being who you are. You’re the sunshine in the room, in everybody’s life and that’s the one thing you’re really good at. I’m still amazed that it takes no effort for you to do that, anyway.. I hope you’re doing well, I wish you all the happiness. When we somehow cross paths again, I hope it wouldn’t be so awkward.

A Book You Love (30 Day Challenge, day 3)

I’ve read plenty of books in my two decades of living but only one book has stood out amongst the rest. In fact, it was so good I read it three times in a row once, I could not just get enough of it. This book is entitled “Castaways of the Flying Dutchman” by Brian Jaques. I don’t remember if I got this book as a gift or I bought it at some thrift store somewhere. But what I do remember is that I spent hour and hours reading this book. It’s full of adventures and mystery, exactly the thing a 9-year-old boy would want.
