What I’ve Learned After Three Years Of Blogging

Look at my stats, and tell me something. Am I good blogger?

I’ve been blogging for quite some time, and one thing always escapes me, “Why haven’t I been on Freshly Pressed?” Or better yet, “Why don’t I have hundreds of viewers at a time in my blog?” Granted, I only stepped up my game a year ago. However, I see other bloggers gaining recognition after only 5 months of blogging (and they write you as u.) So what’s up with me?

Could it be my tags? I don’t think so, since I leave it to WordPress to tag my posts.

Could it be my titles? Probably. I still don’t get this how-to-attract-readers-with-an-attractive-title thing.

Could it be the content itself? According to the stats, it seems so:

New Book: A Discovery of Witches

Ever since Katipunan (the town where I live) got Fully Booked, I’ve been visiting it almost every week. I go there and I stay for over an hour; I go through rows and rows of books, picking up and reading the back of each one that catches my eye. So far my mother hasn’t had to drag me out of there because I spent too much time, which is a good thing considering I’m in college and I gotta utilise my time etc. (which I’m not doing so well now :p I have two papers to pass tomorrow and I’m not done with the first one).

Back to Fully Booked.

Yesterday I was supposed to go to school and direct a play for my class, Humanities and Literature. I asked my Asst. Director if we had rehearsals, and thankfully we didn’t.
