Two weeks ago, I took the Ateneo College Entrance Test (ACET) for transferees. I prepared myself for that exam for over two months. I took a one-on-one tutorial at Ahead in Katipunan. I did nothing but review for weeks before the exam. I was surprised to find that they hadn’t change the test since 2007, and I don’t think they will change it any time soon. What was more surprising was the difficulty of the test. It’s either I’ve gotten smarter over the past two years or I’ve gotten smarter over the past two years hahaha!
I had some trouble deciding which event I wanted to share, and it came down to two. It was either the time my father left or the time when we were thrown out of our house. But I figured that it would be better to talk about my father and his departure from this family.
So please bear with me because I haven’t talked about this to an open crowd, in fact I think only three of my friends know the full details, at any rate…
The year was 2009 on the month of April. I was home alone watching TV when I heard the door open downstairs. I thought to myself “Is that mom or dad? They’re rather early”. I went back to watching TV, not minding what was going on downstairs. After a few minutes I heard heavy footsteps rise from the stairwell, “oh, it’s dad” I thought. I kept watching TV.

- Went back home, tummy was feeling funny. It was quite hilarious
- Left for SIDCOR, a Sunday market of food and other stuff
- Arrived at SIDCOR, to my dismay was cancelled

We all watch American Idol, yes? Well who on earth doesn’t? You’d be living under a rock if you didn’t (which I find totally doable by the way). So we all know of last weeks elimination on AI, and I have to say I am devastated. Watch this video first, then we can move on:
Now how on earth did she get eliminated? What the heck just happened? I can tell you. It’s called show BUSINESS. The “MAN” of AI controls whatever will happen in AI. They say your vote counts but in reality it doesn’t. They just need your vote because it’s the only way to produce such a huge amount of money.
